The Spatial Sound Consortium brings together studios, labs, and independent practices working with multichannel and spatial sound. This consortium begins as a conversation among peers. We speak from within our current work: how we are listening, what is emerging, and what our spaces—those we build as well as those we inherit. What connects us is a shared sense that the lab functions as a living environment—one shaped by the people, histories, materials, and forms of attention that move through it.
